Telefonica Blue takes an early lead
As Bouwe Bekking's team score two bullet's in the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-9's first in port racing
On Saturday Telefonica Blue won both Alicante In Port races to get their first points on the board in the 2008-9 Volvo Ocean Race. Sunday morning, Volvo Group CEO Leif Johansson confirmed that there will be another Volvo Ocean Race and it will take place in 2011-12. Delta Lloyd have announced their crew. Green Dragon skipper Ian Walker updates us on his campaign.
Finally... sailing's sound barrier, 50 knots, has been broken and rebroken this weekend in Namibia. The Spice Race, from Cowes to Grenada, has been postponed by a year.
